My Sarcasm is Showing Again
I was all proactive about doing physical therapy, willing to work as hard as it takes to relieve my nerve pain without doing x-rays, MRI’s or injections to handle the discomfort. PT is usually the first step so I’m here for it.
Or I’m trying to be. But as it turns out, I can’t get an appointment for at least a month.
Apparently it takes Elon Musk less time to buy Twitter in his bid to control the hearts, minds and opinions of the world than to get a physical therapy appointment.
Hmm, maybe if I complain on Twitter, Musk will fix access to the health care that I make substantial monthly payment to supposedly ensure my access to???

It’s Wednesday. Be glad you are dealing with private health care. Try the VA system sometime.
I might actually go back to the birds (after judiciously clearing out my follow list). Or not. I just wish there was a place to talk books, writing, general life, good times, without politics entering into it.
Speaking of good times, I have to admit I’m kinda enjoying the melt down over Musk. Because I’m all warped like that.
Not much else going on. Nice weather. Stormy after school all this week. Good thing I stocked up on bologna and cheese. LOLOL

That is just terrible that you can’t get in for PT for a month. It seems to be that way in NY too. I hope that there is a cancellation and you get in sooner.
More bad news here. My brother got the results of the biopsy today and he has an aggressive form for Prostate cancer. He’s now weighing which treatment option is the right one for him.
Hubs leaves in the morning to see Harrison. Based on the FT’s the two of them cannot wait to see each other🥰.
Middle, youngest, and I are going to go see my mom on the 7th. The boys will share driving so that we can go up and back in one day. We’re hoping to take her to lunch and maybe have my brother and SIL join us.

Silver, good point on the VA! I’m sorry you guys have to struggle with that system.
For me, I don’t really have a dog in the race with Musk. I just hear it nonstop, and don’t believe in simple fixes.
Related to your comment on wishing there was a place to talk without politics, I wrote a whole blog on a similar idea, and then deleted it. My point was that social media used to be fun, but devolved into a fight club. But I deleted it because….these days anything we say can be twisted. I wasn’t speaking to politics specifically, but there are trolls out there who want to make everything about politics. I try to keep the blog mostly free from that so it deleted it and wrote the PT one instead.
LOL on bologna and cheese! That was one of my faves as a kid! Hope you have fun with Stormy!

Viki, thanks, I’m frustrated but on the other hand, maybe I’ll get luck and this will free up on it’s own. I will think positive.
I’m so sorry your brother is facing aggressive cancer. Each case is different, but my family member had that and did the surgery. He’d doing great now. But, again, each case is different and every patient has a specific set of circumstances. I hope your brother is able to get information to help make the best choice for him.
Yay for Grandpa getting to see Harrison! They will have a blast.
I’m really glad you and the two boys are going to see your mom. It’ll be good for her too. Your so wise to make the most of the time now.
