It was a quiet weekend and I’m so grateful for it! Maggie is feeling much better. We kept her on the strict bland diet as her vet advised, and today we’ll begin transitioning to her regular diet. Hopefully this will solve it, but everything is on her chart, and we’ll address it again when she has her vet appointment at the end of the month.
Wizard continues to heal. Turbo and his family went to Youngest’s for a swim day and we were invited but we turned it down. Wizard can’t be in water or the sun, and we wanted to keep the weekend quiet for all three of us — they all understood. Wizard is bored which is also a good sign.
Boy yesterday was humid and overcast, I think the technical word for it is “yucky” 
The only upside for us is the yucky weather helped curb any desire Wizard might have had to do something more than walk around the backyard for a few minutes. He really only has another week or so before he can get back to regular life.
I got a chance to get caught up on some cleaning and while doing that I’m listening to book DRAGON HEIST and it’s hilarious! I think maybe Silver mentioned that book, and I remembered that correctly, thank you Silver! It’s exactly what I need this weekend! Now I feel more caught up and ready to face another week.

Oh awesome on the book! It’s still on my TBR pile but slowly working it’s way to the top. Yay for quiet weekends, Wiz being bored (ie. feeling better!), and Maggie transitioning back to regular food. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a quiet weekend! We all need them. Boo on the heat.
Saturday was soccer. I thought it was the last match. Nope. It was a make-up game. The LAST last match is this coming Saturday and the forecast is hellishly hot. 🥵 Stormy’s team did win 3-2 and he scored the winning goal so that’s all good. Still, it was warm. LG, Jake and I were ready to get home to hide under the AC.
Saturday night at 8:10 p.m., I typed THE END!!!! Photo and mock-up has gone to cover designer. I’m working on edits/revisions and hope to have it to my editor by week’s end if not before. I am soooo ready to get this puppy published.
I took Sunday off and just vegged. I worked some on-line jigsaw puzzles will listening to Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changling series, then actually READ a novella in the series that isn’t available in audio. My eyes were tired but I got through the whole novella for a change! Eyes are getting better. 🤞🏼
Started edits this morning. Jake’s vet appointment this afternoon. That’s the plan for today. That and coffee. LOLOL Have a great week, all!

I’m so happy to hear that Maggie is doing so much better. I thought of her often over the weekend. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the incident was caused by something she ate while boarding.
Wizard being bored is a good sign. The weather being yucky was a big hep in keeping him from doing too much and hindering the healing.
Skipping the get together was sad but a good thing. If Wizard couldn’t be in the sun or water it would have been hard on him.
Nice that you are enjoying the read.
Our weekend was busy with Harrison and family here. I think every one had fun.
C brought the puppy (Luna) over and she was a hit with all but Spunk. He was NOT having it. First he has a little kid in his house and then a puppy – HOW COULD WE! The puppy chewed on several of Spunks toys too.
Other than that I spent the weekend in non-stop motion with all the cleaning and stuff that had to be done.
Our weather is going into the 90’s and high humidity the next several days. I am not a fan.

Silver, it’s a fun book, so when that’s what you’re looking for, you know what to choose. And thank you on Maggie — she’s seems fully back to normal today.
Yay for Stormy’s soccer game, but sorry there’s another one in the heat! It’s hot and humid here to you have my full sympathy.
CONGRATS on The End!! You did great and now it’s “in production!” I’m excited for you to get it published! That makes it a very good weekend for you!
You deserved Sunday off, and great news about reading a novella — you’re eyes are doing better.
Hope jakes vet appointment went well, and they successfully drained his ears (if needed) with no pain.

Viki, Wizard is doing great today — finally feels good and doing stuff (he’s being careful). I think you’re right, both Maggie and Wizard needed the weekend.
The vet is pretty sure Maggie had “stress colitis” and her treatment plan worked so I’m inclined to agree unless something changes. She’s doing so well now it’s hard to believe how scary sick she was.
Yay for the Harrison Weekend success and everyone having fun. But you must be so tired! It’s a lot of work getting all the organized and executed.
Luna sounds so adorable, and I’m trying not to grin at Spunk’s total outrage. I hope he’s recovered today and decided to forgive you.
Even we have humidity and we’re in the 100s — it is so not fun. Hope you get some rest and cooler weather soon!
