Hi guys, it’s me, Maggie! My mom said I could show you what my friends gave me. Shh…my mom and Wizard think it’s for them, but just look at the very special present we found on our front porch!
It’s a rug with a picture of me!! It’s really me! I posed for a pic to show you how much I look like the dog on the rug! Even if Wizard was all hangry or something and said he needs to add gray to it to make it really look like me. He’s probably just jealous because our neighbors gave me a rug.
What do you think, does it look like me?
It sure is great to have nice neighbors (they are the ones who gave us lemons from their very first crop of their lemon tree), and they have two dogs, so obviously they are wonderful people!

Congrats on your very own rug and the stunning likeness of yourself. Of course it looks just like you! Wizard is just being an old fuddy-duddy. You have lovely neighbors and in this day and age, that’s a wonderful thing! Happy Wednesday to you, Maggie, and tell your mom Happy Wednesday to her too.
Also, if you’ll do me favor and pass along to her that the Linda Winstead Jones book about Bigfoot and the Librarian is a cute, cozy paranormal and it just hit the spot–so much so that I’m now listening to the 2nd book, “Santa and the Snow Witch” which is a Christmas novella.

Silver, thank you! i love the rug and Wizard too, even when he teases me. And I love our neighbors! They are so nice, plus they take their dogs for lots of walks so I know they are the bestest people.
Oh and I told my mom about the book! She said she said to tell you thank you. She can’t right now because she’s in the kitchen making messes, or baking messes? I dunno, she’s muttering one moment and singing the next, so I’m really confused. But I do try to help clean up the messes on the floor

Viki, thank you! I thought it was a perfect likeness of me too :-). And you know I love you, and I like hearing Spunk stories too. I don’t really hang out with cats, so I get to learn from your stories. Maybe one day I’ll get brave enough to hang out with a cat.
