Hunk Fail

It’s Friday! I have too much work and not enough week!

Silver sent me a great Hunk Fail but I’m too chicken to post it. So then I found another one, and then promptly lost it.

Some days I am a brainless witch! But okay,  this guy is DESPERATE to be a Wing Slayer Hunter.  He even went out and got the tats…

Well what to you think?

Have a great weekend, Witches!

Hot Dog Anyone?

Yesterday, I was out running around, doing this and that stuff, and I realized…

People Are Strange.

Really. Very Strange.

Look, I have proof, this is what people do with their dogs…

People Are Strange! That’s all I’m saying!

I can’t decided if number 1 or 2 is my favorite.  What about you?

Wing Slayer Worthy!

It’s Wednesday, time for us to get to work evaluating a Wing Slayer Worthy candidate.

By special request (waving to Dorothy!), I used my magic to summon  Dean from Supernatural (I hope–I don’t watch the show, but I think I found the right guy, Jensen Ackles!) I’ve heard great things about the show…I should get the DVDs.

Anyway, here’s the pictures my magic found:

Surprisingly, this next one is my favorite:

Okay, witches, what do you say? Aye or Nay on Wing Slayer Worthy?

Random Stuff

I was showing my youngest son one of the pictures of Bailey on my blog yesterday. He looked at me and said, “Is your whole blog about Bailey?”

“Umm, no, see right her on top I talked about my next book.”

He did his cop look (trust me, he has a cop look) “That little paragraph?”

I went for the no fail mom look. “What’s your point?”

He laughed and left the house.   Gotta work on my no-fail mom look. Boys…what was I thinking?

So onto other things (not Bailey! I get the point!), I finished all the books I had to read for the Rita contest and got to read a book just for fun! First I read ECSTASY UNVEILED by Larissa Ione. She does write some really hot demons! I liked it alot!

Then I totally switched gears and read  THE PREGNANT PROPOSITION by Sandra Paul (Silhouette Special Edition). I laughed through that book! It’s a true romance and I really enjoyed it.

Reading just for fun really rocks!

Getting a slow start on Key’s story, but that’s normal for me. I like it so far.

And my editor liked the revisions on NIGHT MAGIC (Phoenix’s story).  She has a few things for my to clean up and some line edits, bit it’s a big relief for me! I have say, her revisions really hit the mark. I like this version much better than the first version. It was a heck of a lot of work, but my editor was dead on.

That’s my random stuff for today, what’s yours?

News and Stuff!

First, the news, the third book (Phoenix’s story) is now titled NIGHT MAGIC and it will be released April of 2011. The forth book (Key’s story) will be released summer of 2011 but I don’t have the exact month yet.

I know it’s a long ways off,  but Phoenix and Key are worth the wait, right? (Say yes, I really need Key to be cooperative while I write his book!)

And under the heading of Stuff, it’s Bailey Time!

DSCN0060This is Bailey’s, “Please don’t take my toy,” look. It’s very effective!

Bailey came over this weekend to visit me! My boys all went out for a Bro Night while Wizard and I stayed home and played with Bailey.

Okay, I played with Bailey. Wizard mostly smirked and said,  “He’s a baby.”

Whatever.

Once the boys got home, we all watched Hangover.  And yet, it was as stupid the second time DSCN0061around, but I still laughed.  Sad.

Now I must say, I tried to get a better picture of Bailey, but he doesn’t understand.  Every time I get on the ground to get a picture, he runs over and sits next to me, facing away.  If I get frustrated,  he licks my face and tries to make me feel better.  If I try to get a picture of him playing, he’s moving too fast to focus.  So I had to get pics of him sitting on the lap of one of my sons.  (Ironically this is in my office–the same chair my boys always come sit in while I’m working when they want to chat.)

So how was your weekend?

Hunk Fail Friday!

Happy Friday, Witches!

But I think we have the a problem…Remember that cake from yesterday? Um, I think the monkeys got into the cake, got a sugar rush and chased this man…

tree monkey man

…up a tree! Then they took a picture and submitted him as a Hunk Candidate.  I know the monkeys can be a little scary, but seriously, hunks don’t climb trees in fear! Climbing trees to rescue a kitten is acceptable, but climbing a tree in fear?

Doesn’t work for me. What do you think?

I Blame the Cake!

DSCN0044

For being late…

It was my son’s birthday…my son who is all about healthy living, strict diet and working out.

Except on his birthday.

THREE bags of candy went into this cake, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and M&Ms.  I baked and frosted the chocolate cake,  Son did the decorating.

I actually ATE some of this cake.   And completely forgot to blog! Instead I went to bed and had nightmares of being attacked by millions of pieces of candy trailing cake crumbs.  Terrifying :-)

My other two sons have NORMAL cakes on their birthday.

So here’s my question: If we feed this cake to the flying monkeys, do you think they’d still be able to fly?
